Structural business statistics and foreign affiliate’s statistics

Legal basis for conducting statistical survey “Structural business statistics” is Law on Official Statistics and Official Statistical System of Montenegro (Official Gazette of Montenegro 18/12), and Regulation EU 295/2008.

The purpose of Structural Business Statistics (SBS) survey is to calculate indicators necessary for the analysis of business activity structure, structure of input and output in the production process, business success, and competitiveness of economic entities on certain activity level.

The legal basis for the implementation of this statistical survey is the Law on Official Statistics and the system of official statistics ("Off. Gazette of Montenegro", no. 18/12) and Regulation EC no. 716/2007.

Foreign affiliate’s statistics (Inward FATS - IFATS) describes the activities of business entities that are controlled by business entities based outside of Montenegro while foreign affiliate’s statistics (Outward FATS - OFATS) describes the activities business entities abroad that are controlled by business entities resident in Montenegro.
